The Royal British Legion is the UK's leading Armed Forces charity and one of its largest membership organisations. Members get together through the network of branches and clubs all over the country and overseas to participate in social, fundraising and welfare activities.

I couldn't find fault with this hotel
the location is prefect - on the beach. the staff were excellent, being attentive and nothing was too much of a problem. any issues were rapidly sorted out. I cannot fault the hotel, its location and its staff. the sunsets from the bar can be spectacular. at this time of year the weather was perfect for me as I hate very hot weather. the location is good with bars, restaurants etc being within very easy walking distance and the prices were very reasonable, certainly by UK standards. January seems to be an ideal time to visit.

Coming up - Querença Sausage Festival 2019
The 2019 Querença Chorizo Festival will take place on Sunday, 20th January.
It is a festival in honour of St. Luis (the protector of animals).
Traditionally the families in inland Algarve raised a pig to sustain themselves through the year and asked St. Luis to keep it in good health. To thank the saint they offer their best homemade chorizo.
The festival includes a procession, musical entertainment and, of course, lots of homemade chorizo!
This event will include a
procession, tastings of grilled sausages and lots of music.
