Last Saturday the Holiday Inn Algarve team attended the presentation of the next edition of the Caldeirada Festival which took place in the market of Armação de Pêra.

Festival da Caldeirada e de Mar - Armação de Pêra
Don't miss the presentation of the "Festival of the Caldeirada and the Sea" in the Armação de Pêra market, this Saturday, 27th May from 10.30am until 1.00pm.
There will be the opportunity to try various Caldeiradas prepared by the 13 restaurants taking part in the Festival. In addition, there will be a wine tasting, highlighting "Silves Wines".
The caldeiradas will be served by the students of the CEF Course of the school of the Algoz.
The "Festival of Caldeirada and the Sea" will take place between from 3rd - 11th June in the following restaurants in Armação de Pêra: Churrasqueira Balbino, Marisqueira Hera, A Tasca, Casa D’Avó, Coentros, O Casarão, O Fernando, O Pelintra, Olivalmar, O Silvense, Pôr-do-sol (no Hotel Holiday Inn), Rocha da Palha and Vista Mar.

"7 day beach break"
Lovely hotel in a great location, over looking the 3 mile long beach. Only ate breakfast in the hotel, but this was very good with a range of hot and cold offers.
All the staff were very friendly, helpful and spoke good English.
We had a great room with ocean views and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, mostly lazing by the pool and finding interesting local restaurants.

Fiesa - International Sand Sculptures, 2017

Fiesa - the International Sand Sculptures Festival is being held in nearby Pera once again this year. It is the only event of its kind in the Iberian Peninsula.
