Great Hotel in a Great Position !

Nice hotel, we had a sea view room which in my opinion was worth paying the extra for. Food in general was good and everythig was kept really clean and tidy around the hotel. Great beach for sun bathing or you could walk for miles along the beach, Great !!!!!!!!!!!

The Great Christmas and New Year Challenge - 13th Year – Armação de Pêra

Once again we will be "swimming for shoes" during the festive season.

Diary dates - two opportunities to Swim for Shoes where you can have a dip in the Atlantic Ocean and help to raise money for children here who are in need of new shoes.

These will be on Christmas Day and New Years Day at 11.00 a.m. on the beach at Armação de Pêra in front of the Holiday Inn Algarve.

All you need to do is turn up with swimwear, towel and go in for a full swim or just a paddle – the choice is yours as long as part of you gets wet! Then everyone who takes part can recover in the Holiday Inn Bar and enjoy a Hot Bomba on Christmas Day and hot chocolate on New Years Day.

Christmas Day - why not wear a Santa Suit?! And New Year’s Day you can wear your pajamas!

Buying shoes for the children who are in care is an ongoing expense and we want to help as many as possible start 2017 with a new pair of shoes

Adults and children are all welcome to take part on the understanding that you do so at your own risk. If you have family and friends staying over the festive season it will certainly be something different to do!

“Definitely worth a visit”

Already had this earmarked for a visit after reading the reviews on trip advisor and we weren't disappointed ! The whole meal was excellent - so good we had to go back for another visit before we left & again it was gorgeous ! The service is faultless and attentive and on both visits we were asked when ordering our meals the level of spiciness we wanted our dishes to have - we like ours hot but if you don't they will happily cater for that.

On both visits we had a great sunset view as well - stunning location ! Would definitely recommend!!
