All Saints Fair - Silves
The Annual All Saints Fair will take place in nearby Silves this year from 31st October until 4th November.
The event takes place in the car park behind the Castle and adjacent streets.
The event has a long tradition in the city, since 1492, at which time Silves was honored with the "Charter of Fair" by King John II.

Meet the Staff - Mariana Pereira
My name is Mariana Pereira and I work as a Receptionist. In 2016 I did my first internship at the Reception. In 2017 I finished my course at the Professional Tourism School of Alte. At the end of the second internship at the hotel, I had the opportunity to continue working here.
Please tell us a bit about your family and where you grew up ?
My mother’s family is from Alentejo and my father’s family is from Nazaré, but we have always lived in Armação de Pêra, where I was born and live today.
What are the best things about your job ?
Being a Receptionist is a job that makes us interact with many people, we always come across various cultures, which is very interesting both professionally and personally.
Can you tell us something about the Hotel that may surprise the visitors?
Our visitors are very fond of our location, and they also appreciate our gastronomy and our hospitality in general.
Hyde Abbey Bowling Club
