TripAdvisor of the Raj Indian Restaurant
Unfortunately we didn't try this restaurant until the end of our holiday. It might be as well as I'm sure we'd have ended up spending all our holiday money there and away from our own all inclusive facilities as a hotel close by. I was a bit skeptical at first as I'd tried veg curries at other (non Indian) restaurants around the Algarve and was disappointed by the lack of spice. This is a proper British style Indian restaurant and the madras I ordered was the best I've experienced spice-wise. My family all cleaned their plates, the wine was good (house red) and even the after dinner liqueur coffee done to perfection. Highly recommended
