“A great beachfront hotel”
I have stayed here multiple times and find its a great location with all of the services you'd expect. Armacao is a great village with a beautiful beach.
The Holiday Inn is directly on the beach via stairs. Walking through the village means you can access the beach directly. The pool is heated and a good size although it does not have walk in access, it's the standard pool stairs. Access to the pool and beach can be difficult for people with reduced mobility but the staff are always willing to go out of their way to help. On one trip, they arranged a mobility scooter for my mother and has no problems with it being stored and charged in reception. All staff are friendly and helpful and ensure your time in the hotel is enjoyed.
During summer, the hotel is very full with a livelier crowd, the rest of the year it's fairly quiet so great for a relaxing few days in the sun. Stayed July 2015, travelled with family
