A QR code is a 2 dimensional code (also known as a matrix code) that can include text, links or other information that can be read by smartphones, ipads and some camera equipped cell phones. This means that you can scan our code with your mobile device and go directly to our website.

First created by Toyota subsidiary Denso Wave in 1994, to track vehicles during the manufacturing process.

The QR code was designed to allow its contents to be decoded at high speed and it has become popular outside of the car industry due to its fast readability and storage capacity.

The information encoded can be made up of four standardized kinds of data (numeric, alphanumeric, byte/binary and logographic Chinese characters used in modern Japanese), or by supported extensions.

Although initially used to track parts in vehicle manufacturing, QR codes are now used over a much wider range of applications, including commercial tracking, entertainment and transport ticketing, product marketing and in-store product labelling.
