A few of our favourite restaurants in Armação de Pêra
The Raj at Garbe - Serves a varied menu of very tasty Indian Food
Situated within the Holiday Inn Algarve.
L’Oasis Italiana Pizzeria - Excellent Pizza & Pasta dishes. From the hotel turn left, take your first turning on your right and first right again. The restaurant is on your right.
A Pelintra - A very good all round restaurant
Serves a mix of fresh meat and fish dishes at great value prices. From the hotel turn right and continue along taking your second street on the left. Continue down the hill towards the roundabout with the fountain. The Restaurant is on your right just before the roundabout.
Rocha da Palha - Enjoys a great position right off the beach. Serves a nice selection of meat & fish dishes. From the hotel turn right and continue along passing the church on your left take the next right turn and down the steps towards the beach.
A Tasca - Small friendly Bistro (advisable to book a table). Serves a good mixture of dishes – shellfish and sauces are excellent. From the hotel turn right and walk along passing the church on your left, the road will then narrow up hill and you will see the old fort (Fortaleza ) on your right hand side.
Follow the road down the hill and the restaurant is in a small side street on your left.
O Serol – One of the oldest family restaurants in the town. Serves excellent fish and shellfish as well as steaks – very fresh and well served From the hotel turn right and walk along the sea front, passing the church on your left. the road will then narrow up hill, continue along and you will see the old fort (Fortaleza) on your right hand side. Follow the road down the hill and the restaurant is just a little further along on the left opposite the fishing boats
Zé Leiteiro - Fish Restaurant (Closed on Mondays). For a fixed price you can each as much fish as you like – fresh catch of the day! Turn right at the hotel and walk along the sea front towards the fishing boats Pass Fortaleza coffee bar towards O Serol but take a left turn just before –
(down the small side street )
Chicken Piri Piri – The famous chicken dish from the town of Guia There are several excellent restaurants in the town of Guia all famous for their BBQ’d chicken with Piri Piri sauce but all serve other great dishes too! Take the N125 east towards Faro, pass Zoo Marine and continue ahead to the next roundabout (you will see stone chickens in the middle!). This is the town of Guia – You can take a right or left at the roundabout for some great choices on where to eat.
