TripAdvisor - “Excellent hotel, great service”
We stayed for 5 nights from 20th October 2011.
Having viewed previous reviews on Trip Advisor, I was a little tentative as I'm a real clean freak and expect good service. I wasn't disappointed. We arrived really late, but the chap on reception was very helpful and efficient. Both rooms were newly decorated in a contemporary style and immaculate (4th floor). Although the shower was a bit cool first night, it was fine the rest of the time and really powerful.
The views were stunning and the beach really clean too.The breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice, from full English (buffet) to fresh fruit and cheeses, pastries etc etc. The chef was very attentive to replenishing and the breakfast time was nice and long - 7am til 11am.
I can't fault this hotel, and I'm very choosy. The cafe over the road was excellent too and served us a meal at 11pm! If I have to say one thing, it would be that the other guests were much older than us and we felt a bit self-conscious at breakfast time as it was very quiet and not family-orientated.
If you love peace and quiet and want excellent service this is a safe bet when staying in the region. If you're after a livelier hotel with young families and trendy young people then maybe it's not for you.All in all a great experience, very relaxing and we'll be returning. Thank you so much.
