Subject: For the attention of the hotel manager: Feedback on our week with you (1 - 8 October)
Although we filled in the feedback form in the room, I just wanted to say again how very impressed we were with the hotel, its facilities and – especially – its staff.
The hotel was beautifully placed, and very handy both for the town and its beaches. We particularly thought the breakfast buffet was excellent.
Our deal was bed and breakfast only, so our feedback on the restaurant staff is relatively limited, but I wanted to say something particularly about the Reception staff.
The Reception staff (- we had dealings with several) were unfailing helpful and keen to please. We booked two excursions (- nothing to do with the hotel on either occasion), both of which messed us about a fair bit: each was subject to several changes of pick up time and location. The Reception staff kept us up to date admirably and could not have been more helpful in making sure we joined up with the rest of the group. Similarly, they helped confirm our pre-arranged transfer back to Faro airport and made sure everything went smoothly.
I’m not sure anyone says ‘thank you’ and ‘well done’ enough these days, but your Reception staff certainly deserve it.
