“Really lovely - superb”
We have recently had one of the best holidays ever !
Leaving behind the stress and the cold and the rain of the UK, we needed some real rest and relaxation.
The Holiday Inn was the perfect place and the staff made us feel really welcome.
We had a room with a view second to none…and we were able to drift off to sleep listening to the sound of the waves lapping on the shore.
The hotel is situated in a great location – on the beach and at the edge of the small town of Armação de Pêra. There was a pedestrian walk way from the hotel to where the fishermen have their boats at the other end of town.
There are many great restaurants, cafes and bars all offering good traditional fresh food and Portuguese wines. It appears to be a very Portuguese town, so far unspoilt.
The “Raj” restaurant in the hotel serves really authentic Indian food. It’s a must, if visiting the town of Armação de Pêra. The buffet breakfast was great too and there are ocean views from both restaurants and the bar of the hotel.
Can’t wait for the next opportunity to escape and this little town will be our number one choice…
