A CRACKER of a CHRISTMAS PARTY
was held on Sat December 4th at the Holiday Inn , Armação de Pêra.
The Angels Theatre Group performed their Christmas Cracker Show for one night only, to a large and enthusiastic audience, most of whom had arrived sporting festive head-wear !
The Holiday Inn supplied a full buffet with wine.
The angels on the Tombola tree were made specially by the Junior pupils of The Colegio International de Vilamoura.
The evening started in traditional style with the Salvation Army Band and Singers from Sao Bras de Alportal,ensuring everyone entered into the Festive Spirit.
From then onwards the audience was treated to a spectacle of poems and songs, that included Santa,Elves,a Toy Soldier,a Snowman,Angels ,a Nativity play and children from the Algarve Juniors, all introduced by the Fairy Queen played by Marion Griffiths.

The audience were encouraged to sing-a-long to carols and pick festive jokes out of the large Christmas cracker. The Grand Finale, was The Twelve Days of Christmas. Each table was designated a “day” and competed to loud and boisterous help from the cast to give the best and loudest chorus. The live music was provided by Mary Legg on the piano.
The Angels Theatre Group entertain for Charity. Their current beneficiary is Centre Algarve. This is a project to supply holiday accommodation for people with Special Needs. The Angels are happy to announce that they are now in a position to spend 5,000 euros on the Centre.
