What can we say but thank you, yet again, to all the staff of The Garbe (it will always be The Garbe to us after all the years we have been coming) for making our too-short-a-stay last month so enjoyable.
It was, and always is, so lovely to see you all again - you make us so genuinely welcome and, as such, we have always regarded you all as our friends on the Algarve. You were so busy with the changeover when we were there - we hope things are settling down a bit now for you. I must admit we were a little disappointed that you didn't have a BBQ night as we have so enjoyed it in previous years - the perfect setting of your terrace on a beautiful warm evening. So saying, one of the photographs I took this year was taken from the terrace after dark using special settings on the camera to get a good picture. I am very pleased with the result, so much so that I thought you might like to see it too - I have attached it for you.
We were very impressed with all the improvements around town though one, the water feature in front of the church, could have been more spectacular.
Once again thank you for everything. We're really looking forward to staying with you next year when, hopefully, all your rooms have been refurbished to the high standard we saw whilst we were there.
