The World Famous Benagil cave

The nearby World Famous Benagil cave, also known as Algar de Benagil, is probably the most famous of all the sea caves of Algarve. The best way to visit is either by boat from the beach of Armação de Pêra or by Paddle (BlueXperiences). Just ask at Reception and we can book your trip.

Perfect beachside location

Lying in bed and listening to the waves was how we started every day at this gorgeous hotel. We loved everything about it: the food, the drinks, the service, the staff. We ate at the Monday BBQ as well as at the Palm Beach restaurant. We enjoyed drinks at the bar most days.

:) Holiday Inn Algarve on TripAdvisor

The Holiday Inn is just an amazingly comfortable, peaceful hotel. We had eleven lovely nights there and found the whole time a most relaxing experience.
The pedestrianised way outside the hotel is the beginning of one long sea frontage with the beach on the right and all the shops, restaurants and street cafes you will ever need on the left. There is a small but very well stocked super market minutes from the hotel and plenty of gift and clothes shops nearby and one wonderful place that sells a huge array of sun hats.
If what you want are hot sunny days, long sandy beaches and a good peaceful base, the Holiday Inn is the place for you where everyone works so hard to make your stay as comfortable as possible, not forgetting Paul, the restaurant manager who is kindness itself. Thank you everyone for a wonderful holiday.
